    Strategic Account Manager

    Job Overview

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Account Manager to work across our audio products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with clients at a senior level, understanding their business needs, and identifying opportunities to expand our products and services within their organisations. The Strategic Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients.
    • Develop and maintain an understanding of the key users and functionality of our audio products
    • Understand the business goals and needs of each client and work collaboratively to ensure they are getting the most from our audio products
    • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and introducing new products/services
    • Monitor system usage, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to be used internally
    • Manage annual rate increases and any related negotiations
    • Monitor client spend for our transactional revenue products and adjust commercial strategies when needed
    • Help to set revenue targets at client and product level
    • Refine the ratecards for our transactional revenue products
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to provide insights and recommendations
    • Proactively address any customer issues or escalations to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention rates
    • Regularly attend industry events to cultivate strong relationships with both current and prospective clients
    • Work closely with the CS Manager to gain an understanding of the day-to-day helpdesk operations and work to address any client pain points

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Proven experience in strategic account management, business development, or sales roles in the advertising industry. Experience in an agency or ad tech environment preferred. Experience in the audio industry preferred
    • Friendly and outgoing with strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
    • Excellent relationship-building and customer service abilities
    • Proven ability to build trusted client relationships with stakeholders at all levels within an organisation
    • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
    • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights
    • Ability to be flexible by adapting quickly to changing priorities, new approaches and methods
    • Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

    Senior Developer - Audio

    Role

    At Adwanted UK, senior developers have primarily individual contributor roles with an additional element of technical leadership. As a Senior Developer — Audio, you contribute towards the team’s deliveries as an experienced software developer and also enhance and amplify the whole team’s performance and effectiveness through your mentorship, influence, and guidance.

    Responsibilities

    You work closely with product owners, project managers and the development team to deliver valuable enhancements and new features to Adwanted’s suite of Audio products and services.

    You are an individual contributor and, as a senior team member, you also guide and mentor other members of the team. You take an active role in prioritising and right-sizing work items, and you help foster a culture of continuous improvement.

    As a technology enthusiast, you keep well-informed about technology trends in the media and ad-tech industry. Strategic thinking is important in your role, where you focus on building software that meets business objectives and critically evaluate technologies before adopting them.

    The role includes:

    The Role

    We are looking for a salesperson who embodies our values of tenacity, trust and teamwork, to join our sales team to help manage the growing workload and pool of clients who now partner with us across a number of our events and content platforms.

    You will play a vital role in driving revenue growth by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives across all events and The Media Leader’s content solutions.

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting potential clients and advertisers.
    • Sales Strategy: Devise and implement effective sales strategies, to drive revenue and achieve sales targets.
    • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their unique advertising needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their objectives.

    Requirements

    • Proven Sales Experience: Up to 3 years of successful experience in events or media sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the advertising industry, digital media, and emerging trends in content marketing and sponsorships.
    • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively.
    • Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
    • Results-Oriented: Goal-driven, self-motivated, and capable of working independently to achieve sales targets.
